For the artist Xaréne Eskandar the sense of awe is key to having a full life, since it is the representation of the primordial simplicity of our mind. A recent study from Stanford University showed that when we feel awe, our perception of time changes –– awe brings people back to the present moment and influences their decision-making by fostering satisfaction. Eskándar proposes to break the lineal perception of time by means of turning seemingly insignificant moments in meaningful ones.
