On December 2, after much anticipation, Faena will unveil the Faena Bazaar—a modern incarnation of the ancient souk founded on the promise of discovery, creativity and craftsmanship.
From the beginning, my vision for the Faena District has been to create a dynamic cultural epicenter in Miami that brings the community together through unique experiences, Faena Bazaar is an essential element of that mission.
— says founder Alan Faena.
The designer mix of the pioneering OMA-designed space was meticulously curated by Faena and luxury fashion retailer Maris Collective, featuring acclaimed designers and emerging talents to strike a balance that is global, wearable and intriguing. At its core, the Bazaar is a journey where you can sip freshly-roasted coffee or a mate infusion and peruse exclusive items only available at Faena including Adriana Iglesias’s new footwear collection, hand-embroidered designs from Carolina K, and ready-to-wear fashion from The Elder Statesman. Guests will also delight in finds exclusive to the Faena brand such as couture collections, custom wallpaper prints and products, and Faena red
lipstick. “Eventually we’ll launch our own collection too,” says Faena, who got his start in the fashion industry in the late ’80s.
We’ve created a canvas for brands to tell their story through high-concept, rotating retail experiences in home, fashion and beauty
said Linda Uribe of Maris Collective. Debut designers include Hartel’s first-floor shop featuring menswear and curiosities from vintage Playboy magazines to Goyard wrapped lighters, as well as capsule pieces from Rosa Cha, C. Bonz, and Ximena Kavalekas on the second and third floors of the emporium. The top-floor terrace is a chic setting for exclusive pop-ups and fashion-forward events with sweeping views across the Faena District, and to the beach and Indian Creek. Whether you’re searching for the perfect T-shirt, cocktail dress, gown, or vintage piece—Faena Bazaar offers both residents and travelers the next generation one-stop shopping experience.
