World-renowned for his masterful live-fire cooking techniques and rustic recipes that achieve uncanny elegance, Francis Mallmann also harbors a quiet love of great poetry and excellent wines.
In celebration of his latest book Mallmann on Fire (follow-up to his classic English-language cookbook, Seven Fires), Faena is hosting an intimate epicurean event at his Los Fuegos restaurant that offers guests an opportunity to mingle with the chef and sample some of his culinary specialties.
The exclusive evening will feature a selection of hors d’oeuvres paired with the Chef’s favorite, handpicked wine; Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape Rouge, 2014. Mallmann will also host a Q&A, read a small selection of his favorite poetry, discuss his curated wine collection, and invite guests to embark on a culinary journey flavored with art, literature, travel, and adventure.
Chef Francis Mallmann’s Epicurean Wine & Sign will take place on January 26th at 7:00 pm at Los Fuegos restaurant. Tickets are available starting at $175 (tax & service charges not included), which includes a copy of the book Mallmann on Fire as well as hors d’oeuvres and wine. Pre-purchase of tickets is required.
