- Fixed couple issues in Change PIN feature:
The record counter was reset incorrectly when changed PIN. MyID displayed empty list after the PIN was changed.
When change PIN, if you leave the PIN Hint field empty, the Change PIN box may freeze.
Removed the default PIN and confirm values showing when the Change PIN box is open.
- Removed the Faena News and adv screen from MyID program.
- The installation package is smaller. From 2.5MBytes to 1.8MBytes now.

- Added option "Make backup of user file", default is off. By turning on this setting, MyID will make a backup of the user data file in the location when login successfully. The backup file is the exact clone of the user data file. It uses the same PIN encryption. You can open it by double click on it.

- Added option "Always ask for login PIN", the default is checked. If this is unchecked, MyID will only ask for your PIN once when login, the next time you bring up the window by double click on the tray bar icon, will not prompt you for the PIN again. Check this option if other people have access to your computer, such as in an office.

- Now Windows user who doesn't have Administrator rights can run MyID program. This has been tested with normal user account in Windows 2003 and Fast User Switching in Windows XP. The application installation task still requires a administrator user.

- In this version, fixed a bug that may cause MyID program stop response when creating new user account.

- MyID Conduit is not supported since this version jump. MyID for Palm is discontinued.

- This version now use a floppy or USB disk to login. You don't have to remember a PIN anymore.
During create new user, you have an option to create and store an Access-Key-File in disk. If you leave the PIN option out, MyID will generate a 1024-bytes random key, if you choose the PIN option, MyID will use your PIN for the key, encrypt and store the key into the path you specify.
If you use the Access-Key disk option, any one who has access to your disk can access your data. So please use a removable disk and store it in a safe place for security.

- The MyID WebSync service in this release is experimental. Please evaluate carefully before formal use. Comments and questions are welcome.

- Fixed bug: When importing .TXT file from MyID version 1.1 exported file, resulting a corrupted data file. When next time login into this account, MyID program will freeze on the loading screen.
This version fix the bug, now will be able to import all versions' .TXT exported files.

- Fixed bug: In Login screen, if you switch user by typing, the user is not actually switched. Had to choose from the list. This has been fixed in this version.

- Fixed bug: Now when the Adv bar is off by default, and the program will not connect to the Internet by default.

- Fixed a bug when importing data file: If the .TXT file contains invalid date format, the program failed to import the .TXT file.
This bug only may affects customers used the HotSync™ feature with MyID for Palm version before.

- By customer request, the Adv bar now is off by default. That means the program will not connect to Internet by default.

Known Issue:

Even the Adv bar is turned off, the program still trying to connect to Internet at the background. This will be fixed in the next release.

About the Adv Bar:

Since version 3.2.8, MyID featured with a new Adv Bar. This will show Faena News page inside the program. It also comes with an option to show advertisements on the bar. When the advertisements is displayed or even user click on the ads. I will get a tiny amount of commission. The income from ads all flow back into development and maintenance of MyID program and the site.

To turn on Faena News and the Adv bar, from menu Tools->Options -> Check "Display Faena News Window" -> Check "Also show ads".
