Practicing yoga as a daily ritual since her teenage years in Bogota, Colombia, Lina went on to become a physical therapist, where she incorporated yoga as an integral part of her healing treatment plans for patients.
She deepened her practice over the years by studying Hatha Yoga. In 2014, she completed her 200-hour, alignment-based Vinyasa teacher training at Green Monkey in Miami with Jason Lawner to become a certified yoga instructor.
As a teacher, Lina has explored various styles of yoga from Ashtanga and Acroyoga to aerial and Iyengar, learning the use of different props and techniques. Her specialized knowledge of anatomy, neurology and physiology enables her to guide students through Asana practice as they focus on breath and posture alignment, opening the body further and quieting the mind.
Her mission is to empower others to learn how to heal themselves, while encouraging playfulness in their practice and providing meditations that are both positive and uplifting.
