This October, Chef Paul Qui is teaming up with award-winning Chef Christopher Haatuft and Chef de Cuisine of Golftrømmen, Bigler Cruz to transform El Secreto's Omakase menu into a special blend of their international styles.
Featuring an exquisite thirteen-course tasting menu, this neo-fjordic twist on El Secreto Omakase will serve up eco-friendly seafood inspired dishes by Chef Chrisopher Haatuft’s sustainable seafood market and restaurant, Golftrømmen now open in Houston Texas – Chef Paul Qui’s hometown.
Sharing the same ethos utilizing environmentally friendly seafood supplies of the freshest ingredients, guests can enjoy clean, natural and simple flavors like, Live Scallop, Stone Fruit, Tosazu, Ora King Salmon, Smoked Buttermilk, Apple, Celery, Hon Maguro Akami, Egg Yolk, Tare, A5 “Italian Beef” Barley Miso Butter, Giardinare and more.
