Last December, Nomadic Journey and Spirit of Places brought Marina Abramović’s extraordinary artistry to the Faena Art Project Room, celebrating over four decades of groundbreaking work.
Presented in collaboration with Massimo Dutti, the exhibit featured eight works on Faena Miami Beach’s notepad letterhead, capturing moments of profound artistic reflection. Marina Abramovic´ reflected, “My home was wherever I went because my home was my own body.” This sentiment came alive through exclusive works created specifically for Faena. The exhibit showcased deeply personal pieces which were also featured in a limited-edition coffee table book. The collaboration with Massimo Dutti underscored Abramovic´’s visionary legacy, combining her boundary-pushing art with the brand’s dedication to exceptional craftsmanship. Through archival materials, poetic reflections, and her unique creations, the exhibition offered visitors an intimate glimpse into Abramovic´’s nomadic journey and artistic evolution. Each piece stood as a testament to her philosophy of resilience, creating an unforgettable experience that bridged contemporary art and human connection.
