The Miami native, who first discovered her love of singing at the tender age of two, has cultivated her craft in the intervening 19 years, leading her to the opulent Living Room stage at Faena Miami Beach. Drawing inspiration from some of the iconic chanteuses of the 20th century, including Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Etta James, Mayor has created her own soulful sound that earned her a standing ovation and praise from the judges on “America’s Got Talent.”
Known as “The Cuban Adele,” Mayor’s rich voice and captivating stage presence have turned her into one of the most buzzed-about vocal artists in recent history, but despite her rapid ascent, she’s staying true to her roots by showcasing her awe-inspiring talent at venues throughout her hometown, including weekly performances in the heart of Miami Beach’s live music scene: Faena’s Living Room.
The self-described “soul singer with a little Latin spice” is bringing her voice to The Living Room for a Tuesday night concert series, where guests can experience her immense talent firsthand. While Mayor’s gift for commanding a stage is earning her acclaim around the world, she’s dedicated to maintaining the relationships that got her where she is today. Calling Faena “family,” Mayor cites the hotel’s cosmopolitan clientele and stunning venues as the impetus to dedicate her precious spare time to these intimate shows.
