A Private Autumn Journey from Manhattan to the Hudson Valley
Follow the changing colors of the season beyond Manhattan with a private journey designed around art, nature and the Hudson River.
Departing from Chelsea Piers, guests board a private boat for a leisurely cruise north along the Hudson River. As the Manhattan skyline recedes, the landscape transforms into wooded hillsides, dramatic cliffs and the rich colors of autumn, setting the scene for a day immersed in the Hudson Valley.
Arriving at Piermont Dock, a private driver continues the journey through the countryside to Storm King Art Center. Here, monumental works of contemporary art unfold across rolling hills, meadows and forests. A private guide leads guests through the landscape, allowing approximately two hours to discover Storm King and the relationship between art and nature at the height of the fall season.
Amid the grounds, pause for a curated Faena picnic basket, thoughtfully prepared to be enjoyed surrounded by the changing landscape.
The journey continues back to Piermont Dock, where the private boat awaits for the return to Manhattan. As afternoon turns to golden hour, settle in on deck and watch the colors of the Hudson shift with the light before the city skyline gradually comes back into view.
Throughout the day, a Polaroid camera captures spontaneous moments along the way. At the end of the experience, the photographs are brought together into a bespoke picture-board keepsake, creating a tangible memory of the journey.

The experience is available for up to four (4) guests, from approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm, and may be arranged through the Faena New York Concierge for an additional fee.
