Opening in December, Casa Faena will be the new home to Grupo Gitano’s first Miami outpost. The new Gitano at Casa Faena will dish up a taste of Tulum and the Yucatán featuring signature tropical vibes, gipsy-disco sounds, refreshing cocktails and Mexican flavors.
Known for its chic gathering spots in Tulum and New York City, Grupo Gitano is a fan-favorite of the fashionable and flamboyant. Casa Faena proved itself to be a seamless fit for the brand’s defining elements: tropical oasis, Mexican flavors and well-heeled clientele.
Founder James Gardner has assembled a dynamic group of high-caliber talent that have helped put their projects all over the map including Robert Delaney, formerly of Blue Hill at Stone Barns joins as Gitano as General Manager, consulting chef at large Mads Refslund, co-founder of Noma in Copenhagen, consulting beverage director Jeremy Strawn owner of Mulberry Project and formerly of Death & Co.
Guests can expect the same level of sultry sophistication at Casa Faena: think a modern take on Mexican and Mayan fare and a cocktail menu composed of refreshing tropical libations with an emphasis on Mexican spirits and fresh seasonal ingredients.
