From its iconic Jazz Series featuring Grammy winners to a fiery retelling of Carmen cabaret, the lineup is a testament to Faena’s dedication to blending artistry, innovation, and spectacle. Highlights also include guest performances by the legendary Dita Von Teese and a new weekly residency from New York City starlet Rocky Lanes, making Faena Theater an unmissable cultural hotspot in Miami Beach.

This season features a showstopping mix of celebrated and emerging talent. The series kicked off January 15, 2025, with Grammywinning Paquito D’Rivera performing alongside the Frost School of Music’s acclaimed Stamps Jazz Quintet. “The soldout performance received standing ovations and calls for encores from the audience,” said Faro. February brings the nostalgic sounds of Aymée Nuviola and Kemuel Roig, followed in March by three-time Grammy-nominated New Orleans pianist Sullivan Fortner. In April, Veracruz native, Lucia, who has a new album coming out, will take the stage, while May welcomes UK Soul Artist of the Year, Jarrod Lawson. The series concludes with Something Else!, an all-star soul jazz ensemble featuring Vincent Herring, delivering a high-energy fusion of bebop, funk, and R&B. Quixotic’s reimagined Carmen transforms Georges Bizet’s iconic opera into a daring, multisensory experience. “We dove deep into the roots of flamenco to honor its traditions while pushing boundaries,” said Anthony Magliano, Founder and Executive Creative Director of Quixotic, an award-winning performance collective. This avant-garde production fuses flamenco with fire artistry, pop hits like Black Magic Woman and Rolling in the Deep, and stunning visuals inspired by Alan Faena’s one-of-a-kind design sensibilities. Magliano describes it as “a visual feast radiating sensuality and sophistication.”

Dita Von Teese returns to Faena Theater with her signature blend of vintage glamour and modern artistry. Her act, which has been hailed as a thrilling spectacle for decades, celebrates burlesque’s legacy while redefining it. Every moment is an ode to femininity and empowerment, making her show a highlight of the season. Last but not least, Rocky Lanes, the New York City siren and star of Quixotic’s Allura Cabaret, will bring down the house weekly with RETRO, a rendition of highenergy Motown hits. Prepare for performances infused with Lane’s soulful star power and a voice that does justice to greats like Aretha Franklin and Diana Ross.

Where Fire and Flavor Ignite

"What makes Los Fuegos truly extraordinary is our commitment to the ancient art of cooking with fire,” explained Yassine Belkady, the restaurant’s manager. “We use no electricity whatsoever—just fire, wood ovens, and tradition” Everything has that distinctive char, those bold, nearly burnt flavors that taste almost primal. “When you dine here, you can literally smell the wood and rosemary in the air,” he added. The restaurant’s setting matches its culinary panache. By day, the veranda transforms into an airy ambience when its retractable roof opens to Miami’s brilliant skies. Guests enjoy lunch while overlooking the property’s stunning pool, creating what Belkady called “a completely different experience than any other hotel or restaurant in Miami.”

Beneath the Tree of Life

Mornings here unfold slowly while guests sip on fresh-pressed juices—like the South Beach, a tropical elixir of coconut water, local citrus, mango, and strawberry, or a vitamin-rich Green Juice packed with spinach, kale, ginger, cucumber, celery and green apple. “The tranquility makes it really special,” noted Joshua Rodriguez, Director of Nightlife. “It’s a place where guests can grab a coffee, a light bite and relax or catch up on some emails.” A menu of delicious appetizers is great for snacking throughout the day, including crispy artichokes with sesame yogurt and sourdough breadcrumbs; prime rib empanadas with llajua sauce; and a vegan option of steamed veggie rice with sweet potato and broccoli. Come golden hour, the energy shifts. On weekends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, resident DJs set the mood as the bar transitions into a laidback sundowner haunt. The CopaCabana cocktail, a tropical indulgence of banana and apricot liqueur, coconut cream, allspice, and Bulleit Rye, is a guest favorite. “People order it because it’s served in a Faena-branded coconut, but it’s the taste that makes them request another one,” said Rodriguez.
