Summer is sizzling in the Living Room with a crop of talented artists putting their singular stamp on Faena’s curated music lineup.
Faena’s Late Night Resident music program will be headlined by Trinidad-born artist, KEBA, who will make her highly anticipated return to the Living Room stage this May with three weeks of performances. She will be backed by the Black Hat Band, with stunning performances from burlesque siren Elena Lee and her ensemble. KEBA’s soul-flavored songs are anthems about becoming a self-made woman in America. Her lyrics combine raw vulnerability with a cultural exploration of love, femininity, and identity as a first-generation immigrant and millennial. Her music is a sensual fusion of pop, R&B, and Caribbean soul, accented with melodic basslines, exotic rhythms, and theatrical climaxes.
Liset Alea, from the notable French band Nouvelle Vague, will imbue summer evenings with her magnetic sensuality and emotive voice that flows over any genre of musical arrangements. Born in Cuba, raised in Miami, and living in Europe for the past 20 years, Alea is a culture-fluid multi-instrumentalist, skipping hypnotically between languages from English to French to Spanish while she softly plays guitar. She’s been likened to a breathy, minimalist, mellowed-out Astrud Gilberto on acoustic guitar.
The Funky Suspects will join other long-established weekly residencies this summer, including Mi Dulce Son, American Gypsy, the French Horn Collective, and crooner Louis Amanti, bringing their funky disco soul take on classics every Thursday evening. DJ sets from Richie Hell, Diego Ciaramella, Corrado Rizza, and others complement the live performances.

The fruits of the earth shine through in The Cathedral, a pre-prohibition cocktail recipe from the heart of Havana, Cuba.
