New this season is a whimsical bridal corner adorned with giant roses. Guests will find hand-embellished gowns from the House of Matching Colors, a couture brand founded by the store’s curator Paula Selby Avellaneda.

“The dresses embody fantasy and femininity with embroidered detailing and delicate materials like Silk Dupioni,” she explains.

Brides can also collaborate with Selby at Big Bang to design the dress of their dreams. “It’s a very couture experience, building the dress in the mirror using traditional draping techniques.” The bridal section also features ready-to-wear cotton and lace outfits from New York-based designer Maia Bergman. Don’t miss Parisian designer Iris Noble’s handcrafted leather bags made from alligator and lizard skins. “They’re the most high-end small leather accessories you can find,” says Selby.

For sportier fashions, shoppers can scope out T-shirts and hoodies from Alan Faena’s new clothing line Architecture of Being, as well as an Arsenale Sportswear pop-up tied to the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix in May featuring neon-yellow track suits with racecar print and sports bras and leggings for women.

The boutique also carries Miami-based House of Bo’s latest scents including ‘La Mar’ for women and ‘Espíritu’ for men. “The new fragrances are inspired by all types of romantic relationships,” notes Selby. Alongside Tierra Santa’s sacred oil collection, guests can pick up firming face serums from the sustainable beauty line Costa Brazil. Selby explains that “the ingredients used in the oils, serums, and creams are 100% naturally harvested in Brazil in a way that promotes preservation.”
