“Miami is an eclectic and cosmopolitan city, very much like my designs,” said Tcherassi. “My line’s casual luxury aesthetic goes hand-in-hand with the city.” As one of the first Latinx female designers to take her brand internationally, Tcherassi’s eponymous label is celebrated for its high-quality textiles and construction, attention to detail, and designs that stand out for their effortless elegance.

The latest collection was inspired by artist Mark Rothko’s work and makes use of color blocking and light layering. “Similar to Rothko, I am always attempting to create a sort of color field for the expression of emotions,” explained Tcherassi.

“Warmth, audacity and subtleness were words that continued to come to mind throughout my creative process".

The pieces embody the foundation of distinct femininity upon which Tcherassi founded her brand, while continuing to expand her command of vibrant colors. Fashion lovers will pore over her classic silhouettes crafted with fabrics like heavier silks and jacquards, which allow for structure. “Silvia Tcherassi’s shirts are an elevated and eye-catching essential, “noted Danielle Licata, co-founder of Curio at Faena Bazaar. “They are so versatile and can easily transition from day to night with the right accessories.” She recommends pairing them with earrings from Leticia Linton, perfectly on-trend shoes from GIABORGHINI, and a clutch from Cult Gaia
