New Season, New Styles

Miami has no shortage of sex appeal, but this spring season will be even hotter with the arrival of several new brands to Curio at Faena Bazaar.

Faena Bazaar Curio

Shop for corsets and sexy dresses from Dolce and Gabbana, rhinestone embroidered skirts and tops from newcomer Guiseppe Di Morabito, feather-trimmed works of art from Taller Marmo, and out-of-the-bedroom lingerie and silk separates by Fleur du Mal.

Contemporary prints are evolving this season with abstract animals, tribals and ikat, styles which can be found in the latest brand additions, including Cala del la Cruz, Punicana, and Erika Peña. The men’s collection continues to expand, offering a mix of casual yet elevated Florida lifestyle attire and great ‘night-out’ shirts and pants.

Swimwear is central to Curio’s luxury assortment. For women, brands Eres and Haight offer the gold standard of classics, while Jade and Devon Windsor provide the perfect sexy silhouettes. For printed works of art, look to designers Adriana Degreas and Carolina K. “The gentlemen can pair swim trunks from Orlebar Brown with a polo from Officine Generale,” suggested Danielle Licata, co-founder of Curio at Faena Bazaar.

New coveted accessories include signature clutches from Olympia Le Tan, a brand that upcycles classic book covers into artisanal accessories featuring hand embroidery and Liberty-printed lining. (They’ve been toted by A-listers, such as Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman.) For statement evening clutches, shop Cult Gaia and RUE DE VERNEUIL for the perfect beach bag.

With one of the largest designer sunglass collections on the beach, Curio carries the latest styles from top brands like Celine, Saint Laurent, Dior, Gucci, and Tom Ford, as well as new additions from the go-to classic Ray Ban and futuristic fashions from Loewe and Balenciaga. To finish an outfit, choose from diamond statement necklaces from Yanina & Co, rainbow gem hoop earrings from Leticia Linton, and fun, colorful costume earrings designed by Susana Vega.

“We also have a focused edit of outerwear for a trip to colder climates from brands like TENC and Aspesi,” said Licata, “as well as men’s statement styles from Isabel Marant and Nanushka.”

Where Fire and Flavor Ignite

"What makes Los Fuegos truly extraordinary is our commitment to the ancient art of cooking with fire,” explained Yassine Belkady, the restaurant’s manager. “We use no electricity whatsoever—just fire, wood ovens, and tradition” Everything has that distinctive char, those bold, nearly burnt flavors that taste almost primal. “When you dine here, you can literally smell the wood and rosemary in the air,” he added. The restaurant’s setting matches its culinary panache. By day, the veranda transforms into an airy ambience when its retractable roof opens to Miami’s brilliant skies. Guests enjoy lunch while overlooking the property’s stunning pool, creating what Belkady called “a completely different experience than any other hotel or restaurant in Miami.”

Beneath the Tree of Life

Mornings here unfold slowly while guests sip on fresh-pressed juices—like the South Beach, a tropical elixir of coconut water, local citrus, mango, and strawberry, or a vitamin-rich Green Juice packed with spinach, kale, ginger, cucumber, celery and green apple. “The tranquility makes it really special,” noted Joshua Rodriguez, Director of Nightlife. “It’s a place where guests can grab a coffee, a light bite and relax or catch up on some emails.” A menu of delicious appetizers is great for snacking throughout the day, including crispy artichokes with sesame yogurt and sourdough breadcrumbs; prime rib empanadas with llajua sauce; and a vegan option of steamed veggie rice with sweet potato and broccoli. Come golden hour, the energy shifts. On weekends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, resident DJs set the mood as the bar transitions into a laidback sundowner haunt. The CopaCabana cocktail, a tropical indulgence of banana and apricot liqueur, coconut cream, allspice, and Bulleit Rye, is a guest favorite. “People order it because it’s served in a Faena-branded coconut, but it’s the taste that makes them request another one,” said Rodriguez.
