Emma Smith is one of Britain’s most compelling jazz vocalists, celebrated for her powerful voice, expressive artistry, and deep connection to the jazz tradition. From the Royal Albert Hall to the world’s leading jazz clubs, she has collaborated with Michael Bublé, the Quincy Jones Orchestra, Jeff Goldblum, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and jazz luminaries including Jeremy Pelt and Wayne Escoffery.
Raised in a family of jazz musicians, Emma developed her love of harmony, improvisation, and swing from an early age. Her accolades include the Parliamentary Jazz Award for Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Jazz Act of the Year at the Jools Holland Boisdale Music Awards, and First Runner-Up at the prestigious Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition. Her acclaimed albums, Meshuga Baby and Bitter Orange, have earned millions of streams and international critical praise.
With sold-out performances across the United States, Europe, and the UK, Emma is a regular at iconic venues including Ronnie Scott’s in London, Birdland in New York, Blue Note Milano, and Duc des Lombards in Paris.
